I (Jo Edwards from Highbury firm Edwards Rensen Architects) am swimming the distance of the channel to raise money for our local food bank, Elizabeth House. 

For me Elizabeth House is my great local community centre - my kids have gone to holiday clubs there and in pre-pandemic times I rehearsed there with my choir (Finsbury Park Singers). Since the start of the pandemic Elizabeth House has also become a food hub, providing food to over 700 vulnerable people in Highbury. 

I am swimming the distance of the channel (22 miles) (in local swimming pools, not in the actual channel!). I want to raise money for Elizabeth House food hub and awareness of the great work they are doing. 

I would love to have your support. You can donate here (a multiple of £22?). And Elizabeth House could do with more volunteers, especially during the day on Tuesdays.
