Giving Summit Back · 2 June 2018

Here at St Kentigern Hospice we offer specialist palliative care for people with life threatening or life limiting illnesses. We focus on the patient's quality of life by controlling symptoms through a holistic approach taking into account their physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The team at Environmental Essentials are a mixed bunch but one thing we do have in common is the desire to give a little back, hence the cheesy challenge title.

As a national company Environmental Essentials Ltd is involved in many charitable events across England, Scotland and Wales. The North Wales team wanted to give something back on a local level by donating to a charity close to home which we have proudly supported as individuals over the years.

Our challenge isn’t unique within the locality but is certainly out of the ordinary for the participants. It will take a group of people who only normally interact with each other through the working environment and see them embark on a physical challenge as a collective, raising money for a great charity and hopefully creating fun memories along the way.

We’ll be setting off early to be among the first that day to reach Snowdon’s Summit. Ascending 723 metres via the Pyg track we hope to complete the 3.5 mile route in about 3 hours.

St Kentigern Hospice and Palliative Care Centre has been providing care and support for patients with a life limiting illness across North East Wales since 1995. The registered charity is founded and supported by the local community and is committed to meeting the needs of people, with active, progressive or advanced illness.
The centre provides patients, their carers, families and friends responsive holistic care in a warm, homely, safe, nurturing environment.
St Kentigern Hospice and their supporters work tirelessly to raise the money needed to provide this invaluable service.
