Effys 1000km challenge

Effy’s 1000km challenge · 26 April 2020
Hello. My name is Effy, I'm 6 years old and I'm cycling, walking & scooting 1000km and raising £1000 for the NHS.
During this lockdown, and since I havn’t been seeing my friends at school every day, I’ve been out on my bike lots of times with my
Mummy.
My Auntie and my Mummy's friend are both nurses and my Mummy is also volunteering with St Johns Ambulance as she can’t fly in the air as a cabin crew member right now.
I’ve really enjoyed getting out on my bike and I really like what Captain Tom has achieved with his challenge, so I had an idea with my Mummy to see if I could take on a fundraising challenge myself.
And so I’ve set myself a challenge to cycle, walk & scoot 1000KM (averaging 10km a day when I can) and raise £1000 for the Association of NHS Charities.
Thank you for your kind & generous donations towards my big challenge and I hope you and your family are keeping safe during the lockdown also.
