Trolltunga Challenge Norway · 9 August 2019
This August we will be participating in a series of challenges in Norway to raise much needed funds for our brothers and sisters in Yemen.
We aim to trek to one of the most gruelling and varied landscape yet scenic mountains in the world overhanging on a stunning Norwegian Fjord. Climbing up to about 1100 m above sea level, the first km is the worst (basically a km of winding, steep stairs made of rocks that help you climb around 300 m) taking you up an additional 200 m in the next couple of km's. The trek will take anything between 12 and 14 hours. This will be followed by three hours of mountain biking and ending with three different high zip wire challenges.
I am doing all this to support an Al-Amin and Wheels to Heal project to help the needy in Yemen.
I realise it will be very tough and I need to put hours into training - but the pain i'll go through is nothing compared to what the people of Yemen go through on a daily basis. My own Target is £750 but our collective target is around £4500. Please donate generously.
All the costs of the challenge, including travel, accommodation and food are met by myself and the team. Every single penny donated will be given to the much needy people in Yemen. So please give with confidence and generosity as unlike most charity challenges - this is a 100% donation going directly to the needy - 125% if you include gift aid.
