I'm running the 10K to fundraise for Sheffield Hospitals Charity and to support patients and staff in Sheffield! After hearing about the Sheffield 10K Run sign-up in Church - Victory Assembly, Sheffield - I thought:Yehhh, why not challenge myself to do something outrageous that I've never done before and have no training in! :P 

During the pandemic, I had a rotation as a surgical doctor in Sheffield Hospitals for over a year. So having the opportunity to fundraise for their Charity now feels extra meaningful. To help provide vital support to patients and NHS staff  that I worked with.

The NHS provides an incredible service in the Sheffield area but limited resources mean there is always more that can be done. Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, the charity supports the outstanding work of staff across Sheffield Teaching Hospitals to transform the care and treatment of all those who need it. 

But they can't do what they do without YOU! The Just Giving platform is well-established, they handle all the donations & direct it straight into the Charity's account. So all I have to do is focus on the Running part!
