HEINEKEN Race to the Tower 2019 · 8 June 2019 to 9 June 2019 ·

The Clink reduces re-offending by working with people in prison, as well as young people who could be at risk of entering the justice system. We do this through our restaurants, bakery, gardens, social enterprise catering service and our new Clink Training Cafe - a community for young people.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

There are over 70 Ei Group colleagues taking part in the Heineken Race to the Tower 2019 to raise money for The Clink, Ei Group's corporate charity partner.

The Clink's key objective is to reduce re-offending rates by training and qualifying prisoners for employment in the hospitality sector upon release.

At each of The Clink training projects, prisoners work up to 40 hours a week whilst working towards gaining their City & Guilds qualifications. Simulating a professional environment, prisoners with six to eighteen months of their sentence left serve as volunteers for the programme, going through full-time training in order to reach the required level to succeed in their respective industry.

We are extremely grateful for all donations made in support of this worthwhile charity.
