Trans Pennine Challenge 2013 · 22 June 2013 to 23 June 2013 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am completing a 100km walk from Manchester to Sheffield, in memory of our late colleague, a very special lady, Pat Farrelly.

The aim of this money is to contribute towards greater research and treatment for the disease.

Pancreatic cancer is the worst type of cancer, in terms of survival. 95% of people diagnosed don't survive and the symptoms are often unnoticed.

I am seeking sponsorship for this walk, so if you/if you know anyone who may want to sponsor me, however small, please circulate the link to this page. All money goes directly to Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Myself, along with my other colleagues participating in the challenge, are hoping to each raise £400 and give money to a charity that really needs support.

In loving memory of Pancreatic Cancer sufferers everywhere.

Thank you
