Nerve Tumours UK provides support and information, as well as campaigns and raises awareness on behalf of over 26,500 people in the UK who have NF, the group name for Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1), NF2-related-Schwannomatosis (NF2) and Schwannomatosis (SWN).

Story

Most of you know that our brother Malcolm died unexpectedly in May of this year. Malcolm was 50 and had been diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 as a child. NF1 is a genetic disorder which affects nerve tissue and can have serious complications. As yet, there is no cure.

The Neuro Foundation is one of the few charities in the UK which provides support to people with NF1 and funds research into this condition. It is funded solely by donations and memberships.

On Saturday 19th October, we are running the Coigach Half Marathon in Achiltibuie, Wester Ross to raise money for the Neuro Foundation.

If you would like to donate and help us support this fantastic charity, please click on the donate button at the top of the page.

A huge thank you in advance!

Eileen and Mairi.
