Wessex Heartbeat are currently running an appeal HiGH 5 to raise money specifically to create a unit for young people with heart conditions. This unit will not only provide more appropriate care for young adults but will also provide the neccessary care mentally and physically for the younger generation with heart conditions, which does not currently exist in Southampton General Hospital. Their target is to raise £500,000 to get the unit up an running.

 This is something that is very important to me as most of you know i have Heart Failure and had my first cardiac Arrest when i was just 25, and another last yr, it's tough for any young person to go through and spending a lot of time in hospital is very daunting....This means so much to me and i am sad to say i lost a very good friend Kris Morriss in September to whom had a heart condition and was only a few yrs oder than me, so please try to donate as much as you can afford.....means a lot to me guys!! xxx
