Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
47 years ago my Dad, Jack Littman, had a heart attack aged 50 and died at the Cosmo cinema, now the GFT, in Glasgow’s city centre.
This tragedy could have been avoided had there been a defibrillator on the premises. To this day, the cinema still doesn’t have one.
I’m setting out to change that.
I’m running 5K three times a week during the month of October to raise £1,000 for St Andrews First Aid. In turn, the charity will use this money to install a defibrillator at the GFT and train staff to use it, increasing the chances of a similar tragedy being avoided in the future.
Without immediate treatment, 90-95% of cardiac arrests prove fatal. Let’s change that!
I’d love if you helped me reach my target, donating whatever you can.
