This disorder controls so many lives of people through the uk and there is so little research and resources to help the people living with it on a day to day basis after watching my partner power through the challenges each day brings over the last 3 years with no guidance from healthcare professionals as they themselves don't have much knowledge on FND,then this last year my mum being unwell and developing FND has really opened my eyes to the problems we seems to turn a blind eye to,she is my superhero and her strength is something I wish to have half of!
