Mount Toubkal Trek
Campaign by Penny Appeal (RCN 1128341)
Penny Appeal's trekkers will be taking on North Africa's highest mountain for charity! In a strenuous 3 day long trek, our hikers will climb Mount Toubkal under the hot Moroccan sun, all to raise money for Penny Appeals Emergency Response.

Story

I'm trekking Mount Toubkal for Penny Appeal's Emergency Response.

For those of you who know me well, you know I love nothing better than a good hike, so I have signed up to do just that for charity.

The challenge involves 3 days of  trekking 4,167m up rough terrain under the beating Morrocan sun (again those who know me, know this is challenge to my pasty skin in itself!).

But most importantly I am doing this to help people who are facing crisis, war and displacement.

Help us protect and save thousands of families from the devastating effects of natural disasters and conflict. War, famine, disease, poverty & climate change have immobilised communities in Myanmar, Syria, Yemen, Gaza, Indonesia and East Africa, and Penny Appeal need your support to be able to deploy life-saving medical aid, food, clothing, sanitation and shelter to those who've been left incredibly vulnerable. It would mean a lot to have your support. Penny Appeal are also now supporting firefighters tackling the Australian Bush Fires.

So please follow my journey and donate as much or as little as you can. Every penny and word of support will be warmly appreciated. And in return I will provide you with plenty of scenic photography of the journey!

Thank you!

**** I’ve managed to convince my partner in crime and hiking partner to join so the bar and target has been raised 😬 Now to get to £4000 before the new rescheduled dates for the hike this June!
