The Lullaby Trust exists to keep babies safe and to keep grieving families supported. We fund life-saving research, empower families with expert baby safety advice and support grieving families through their darkest days. We won’t give up until no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I starting raising funds for The Lullaby Trust after losing my granddaughter Chloe Alice in December 2013. She was just 15 weeks old.

The Lullaby Trust CONI (Care Of Next Infant) Programme are having to replace all their breathing monitors that they currently loan out through the NHS at a cost of £690 each. This is due to the older units being discontinued and decommissioned.

They initially need to replace around 1,000 of these life saving units that bring peace of mind to families who have already lost a baby to SIDS.

2017 I chose to attempt to take part in 5 marathons over 5 weekends. I completed this challenge but didn't quite get to my fund raising target, so I've decided to extend this page.

Unfortunatly I suffered a cardiac arrest while I was training at the Nuffield Health Centre & Gym in January. I was training to completed London Marathon 2018 at the time so quickly got back on my feet and managed to finish London less than 3 months after the cardiac arrest and at the hottest London Marathon to date!

I had already secured a place at Chicargo marathon through the ballot, so I have decided to do Montreal marathon too, which is two weeks before Chicago.

Thank you in advance to everyone I know who will support me xx
