The Kent Roadrunner Marathon · 30 May 2015

St. Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire) is a provider of the highest quality and standard of specialist palliative and supportive care for patients in North Hampshire. Through our specialist skills and knowledge we work with patients affected by life-limiting illness to ensure they are able to live life to the fullest.

Story

After 6 years of running, having run The Great North Run, various 10Ks, a couple of 10 Mile races and over 225 parkruns, I have decided to train and run my first ever Marathon!  Having helped a few times with the on the day activities of setting up and organising the goodie bags as well as handing out medals I have been fortunate to gain an entry to take part in the Kent Roadrunner Marathon on the 30th May - It will be 17 laps of pure pleasure.

I didn't want to focus on any particular illness to raise money for, but would like to raise money for St Michaels Hospice located in Basingstoke which, as you all know, is my home town.
