Be part of the Skipton foodbank Christmas Appeal for local people in need! The Food Bank gives 'Christmas in a bag' to families and single people across Skipton and Craven who wouldn't otherwise have a Christmas, including Christmas food and toiletries.
I think it is fair to say that 2020 has been a bit of a 'different' year. Christmas is now on its way, the days are getting colder, and it is time to consider a nice warm hat if you are a dipper and a doggy jumper if you are a dipper's dog.
2020 has also been a year where many people have lost jobs due to COVID-19 and the number of people needing foodbanks as a vital lifeline has consequently increased.
It therefore seems appropriate to do something to cheer the dippers (and dippers' dogs) whilst also helping those less fortunate who rely on the local foodbanks. So, with the blessing of admin, I am organizing a Dales Dippers Christmas 2020 raffle of some items I have knitted. More details on the Dales Dippers Facebook page.
