We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Pat Beausang was the husband of my dear friend Cat, and passed away in August 2009 after a short battle with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia. Cat and Pat had just renewed their wedding vows after 10 happy years of marriage. Pat was a Geriatric Consultant at Stirling Royal Infirmary and was a keen and talented runner. He had a great sense of humour, was dedicated to his work and to his family which, as well as Cat, includes his two fabulous children Orla and Louie.

The Strathcarron 10K was a favourite race of Pat's and this year Cat will be joining friends and neighbours to do the run on Sunday 3/10/10.

Please support her in raising money in Pat's memory for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

Your donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated and will help towards combatting this devastating illness.

Thank you, Elaine, Cat and Ally xxx
