Story

Hi I'm Sophie & I'm 8 years old, my Gran Norma passed away a year ago, she had secondary breast cancer & my Gran Margaret died of melanoma cancer 3 years ago I miss them so much & it made me so upset as I dont have any Grans anymore & it's all down to a horrible disease called Cancer.

My Gran Norma went in to Kilbride Hospice in East Kilbride twice to get fluid out her tummy & then the third time she became to poorly to come home & after a few weeks she passed away. Paw went to visit my Gran Norma everyday he sat all day by her side holding her hand but there was only 1 comfy chair between all of the rooms in Kilbride Hospice. So I want to try and raise money for every loved one to have a comfy chair in each room. My Paw always speaks about how kind & caring Kilbride Hospice was & I would like to try and raise some money for them as I've been learning all about my charity band at my Brownies & what a difference it makes.

I'm going to climb a Munro, Ben Vorlich it's slightly higher than Ben Lomond I know it's going to be hard but I can do it & when I get to the top I'll be near the sky & my grans will see me from heaven. Thank you for reading my story ❤️ xx
