I will be doing this year’s Bubble Rush event with My best friend, Tracey McClure, in memory of her mum, Margaret Alford, who passed away some years ago now and was nursed at Ardgowan Hospice.

The event date of 5th May is also Margaret’s Birthday - she would have been 79 this year.  It seems more than a coincidence that we signed up for this event and, when the date was confirmed, it fell on this special day.

A little bit about Ardgowan Hospice:

Ardgowan Hospice is the local hospice for people living in Inverclyde, supporting a community of around 80,000 people.  Each year they say hello and welcome to around 1,000 local patients and their families, offering them a huge range of support from end of life care to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness.
