Thanks for taking the time to read my Justgiving page.
I will be running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon this year in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
GOSH is of special importance to me as only last year my nephew Joshy (aged 6) was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour (medulloblastoma).
Joshy underwent emergency surgery followed by a gruelling regimen of radiotherapy, chemotherapy and a lengthy multidisciplinary rehabilitation programme.
The team at GOSH were just incredible and have been integral to his recovery.
GOSH offers some of the best specialist care and support to children who require it for a range of different conditions. During the Covid pandemic it has still managed to treat over 600 children a day, whilst taking patients from other hospitals feeling the strain.
If you are interested in learning more about the fantastic work GOSH provides you can do so here - https://www.gosh.nhs.uk/about-us/who-we-are/
Otherwise if you can spare a few moments to make a contribution to this worthy cause then that will be appreciated.
