Million Makers · 1 January 2018 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am participating as part of a team of House of Fraser employees in the Million Makers competition in aid of the Prince's trust.   The Million Makers is a national competition that aims to raise over £1M in 6 months in aid of the Prince's Trust. The competition challenges teams from UK businesses to turn £1K into at least £10K through fundraising and business initiatives. The amazing thing about the trust is that it offers 13-30 year olds support, a hand up rather than a hand out, enabling them to take control and change their lives for the better.   The Prince's trust is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and since it was set up in 1977 it has helped 825,000 young people change their lives for the better.  It continues to help more than 100 young people every day to improve their lives.

Help me to raise even more money for the Prince's trust by sponsoring my Colour run (Sept 4th ), climbing the O2 (Oct) and other fundraising activities.
