As one of the first group of Aberdeen Street Pastors it has been great to see our numbers grow from 25 to over 80. We are now on the streets every Friday and Saturday night from 10pm till 4am. Every night there are people who need some practical help, a listening ear or who want a deeper discussion. With this growth comes added financial demands and I'd like to do my bit to raise some funds.

I've been to Nepal twice before and seen Everest from the air and often wondered if I might some day give it a go! Not to the top- but Kalapatthar is 5647 metres! Having phoned a friend from a previous trek I discovered she was also keen to attempt Base Camp! That was last year and now we only have 3 months to go. So instead of leading my street Pastor team up Union Street in October I'll be being led up Everest. This is my first installment- will keep you posted.Eleanor
