It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

In 2017, our brave step-dad Stuart lost his battle with pancreatic cancer just 5 months after his diagnosis, and this is the heartbreaking reality for most who are fighting the same battle. More than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case.

Every day in the UK, 24 people die from pancreatic cancer. To raise money during pancreatic cancer awareness month, myself and a few of my friends and family will be taking on Challenge 24. The event will take place from the 20th-21st November and we will each be taking on a different challenge for 24 hours;

I will be doing a 24 hour jigsaw-a-thon, Peter will be doing 24 hours of a gaming livestream, and Anna will be doing 24 hours of crafting. We will all be taking on these challenges for a continuous 24 hours!!

Any donations would be really appreciated, most people know that I struggle to stay awake past 9pm, let alone for 24 hours!
