Darcie Mays hair chop

Eleanor Nobbs is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Darcie Mays hair chop · 12 January 2022

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Darcie May has grown her hair like rapunzel her whole life and has decided that she would like another child to have hair like hers. On Wednesday 12th January she will be cutting her hair short and donating her hair to the little princess trust who will make a wig out of her hair for other children. She is very excited (I’m more nervous) so any sponsors would be gratefully received.  She wants to raise at least £20. Thank you for any sponsorship for this lovely charity.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
