I have been selected to volunteer in Cambodia on a 12 week placement with ICS (International Citizen Service) through VSO. Many young Cambodians face considerable challenges in becoming confident, active and independent members of their communities and obtaining safe and decent employment. My placement will contribute to the young people becoming autonomous members of their society that are resilient to changing environments. It will focus on creating youth friendly, inclusive environments which empower young people, specifically females and those living with disabilities. 

VSO works through volunteers to fight poverty in developing countries. The volunteers' skills, knowledge and sheer enthusiasm make lasting and far reaching change in the world's poorest communities.I’m fundraising in support of all VSO funded projects, which benefit around 2 million people every year.
