Story

Eleanor Taylor? Running the London Marathon? Surely not...

For anyone who doesn't follow me on Strava: I took up running in 2020, and ran my first half marathon in November. Now, I'm going that one (absolutely terrifying) step further and have signed up to run the London Marathon in October 2021.

I'm raising money for Sue Ryder, a charity that is very close to my heart, because the Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent Hospice in Reading looked after my Grandma, Gillian Weston, in the last few months of her life 5 years ago. The staff and volunteers were incredible, always providing a friendly face to myself and my family at one of the most difficult times of my life. I'd love to be able to raise some money for them to be able to continue to support patients and their families, so please donate if you can!
