CAYB ~ Hilda a Wil
Mae effaith Cancr yn cyffwrdd llawer iawn ohonon ni y dyddiau yma a bu i ni fel staff Canolfan Addysg y Bont deimlo y glec fawr hwnnw y llynedd. Gollon ni ddau aelod annwyl iawn o’n tîm; cymeriadau direidus, hwyliog, llawn bywyd a wnaeth argraff fawr arnom ni gyd; Hilda a Wil. Dyma ni yn mentro cyflawni’r Relay For Life i gofio amdanyn nhw a bydd gwên y ddau yn cadw ni fynd drwy gydol yr her. Diolch i chi am eich cefnogaeth.
The effect of cancer touches many of us these days, and we, as the staff of Canolfan Addysg y Bont, felt its devastating blow last year. We lost two very dear members of our team; mischievous, fun, full of life characters who made an impact on us all—Hilda and Wil. In their honour, we are taking part in the Relay For Life, and we are certain that their smiles will keep us going throughout the challenge. Thank you for your support.
Relay For Life celebrates the power of community fundraising to make breakthroughs happen. Across the UK and the globe, teams of friends, families and colleagues fundraise for world-leading research to save and improve lives, then unite as a community at an event to honour everyone affected by cancer and celebrate the progress we’re making.
How does the money you raise power progress?
- £65 could buy special restriction enzymes. These act like molecular scissors to cut long strands of DNA, allowing our scientists to find out more about the genes that can cause cancer.
- £220 could fund our team of nine cancer nurses for one hour. Our nurse helpline offers confidential support and guidance to people affected by cancer.
When you fundraise for Relay For Life, you’re helping fund research and make discoveries. You’re helping bring about a world where everybody can live longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
Together we are beating cancer.
Thank you for your support.
