Elf Day 2022
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
Ready, Set, SNOW! Unleash your inner elf, dress up and get festive to support people affected by dementia.

Story

Ready, Set, SNOW! I'm unleashing my inner elf to support people affected by dementia.

Ashley and I want to raise £5k for this vitally important charity. Ash made a promise that when we reached £1k, he would match that. Amazingly, in just four days, we reached £1k, so now, with Ash’s cash, we’re nearly half way to our target!

On Elf Day, our whole family and hopefully a few others yet to be persuaded will be dressed up as elves and just go about our normal day (go to work, go to school, coach an under 12’s football team…).

Ashley’s beloved dad was diagnosed in April 2021. Since then, he has changed. He’s still the same beautiful person we know and love but every time we see him, we feel a tiny bit of him is slipping away. His amazing wife, Lesley, is doing her best to help Mally but it’s tough-going for her.

If our fund-raising efforts can contribute even in a tiny way to fund research to cure or alleviate symptoms, then we have done our job. Alzheimer’s and dementia in general is a totally destructive and devastating disease that needs to be eradicated. Please give what you can and help us to reach our target. 🙏🙏🙏

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
