Elf Day 2019 · 6 December 2019 ·
in December 2017 my father was diagnosed with vascular Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Having worked every day of his life, not retiring until he was 80, never having a days sick, he has sadly fallen foul of this dreadful condition. I know as a family we are not alone and there are so many families out there that are impacted. we can only hope for a future with a cure for others.
My dad has always had a fantastic sense of humour, most days still has and a mischievous prankster, still getting up to mischief with the grandchildren.
The Society is working hard to transform the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day that a cure is found, the society help to ensure those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
So we hope that you can find it in your inner child to sponsor us for this task. The Elf day is only the 6th December and it would be lovely to see many joining in but we thought that this is not much of a challenge so the 3 of us are dressing as an elf every day all day what ever we are doing as an Elf - work rest and play............
Please did deep and sponsor us either on our just giving page or by handing over your cash.
Thanks again for listening and your sponsors
