Story
My journey through Covid has been a rocky one, with many ups and down on the way, but with Hashem's continuous help we are finally coming out the other side.
Just over a year ago, I arrived home from the hospital.
Having spent 22 weeks in hospital, 9 of which were sedated on a ventilator and a further 13 weeks recovering on various rehab wards, on the 21st August 2020, I was finally sent home, back to my family!
This is when the real work began. I was determined to get myself back to full function and have been working hard every day to this end.
The Maccabi Community Fun Run on 29th August 2021, will mark a major milestone both for me and my family in our journey to recovery.
To undertake a 5km walk at this stage in my rehabilitation is a major achievement for me and all those who have helped me reach this goal.
It is a great honour for us as a family to now be able to do for others, after the community did so much for us during the past year.
Please help me raise some much-needed funds for the amazing children's charity KEF Kids.
