Story
This weekend is our 10th Grandma Run and our first year without Colin. Colin and his family ran Burrator regularly when training for Paris, London, Berlin, Brighton and Edinburgh as well as many other half marathons and Jean Page (Mum/Grandma) use to watch from the car, awaiting a nice ice cream when everyone finished.
She was our number one fan, and although cancer wasn't the cause of us losing Colin or Grandma, they did a huge amount to support Pink Pong and Cancer Research as so many of their family and friends have been affected.
This year is dedicated to Colin and we hope you might be able to leave a small donation and maybe a message or story in his memory.
The Grandma Run is about the community coming together to celebrate grandparents, past, present and future.
Relay For Life celebrates the power of community fundraising to make breakthroughs happen. Across the UK and the globe, teams of friends, families and colleagues fundraise for world-leading research to save and improve lives, then unite as a community at an event to honour everyone affected by cancer and celebrate the progress we’re making.
When you fundraise for Relay For Life, you’re helping fund research and make discoveries. You’re helping bring about a world where everybody can live longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer. Together we are beating cancer. Thank you for your support.
