Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have chosen to take up the challenge of running the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise money for the Ian Owen NF Research Fund (associated with The Neuro Foundation).

This fund was set up by Clive and Sheila Owen (my soon to be in-laws) in memory of their son Ian who suffered from Neurofibromatosis, before passing away in 2001. Although I never had the privilege of meeting Ian, the charity has become very close to my heart.

Over the past 15 years or so, Clive and Sheila and have helped raise in excess of £100,000 for various local charities, including The Neuro Foundation and more recently The Ian Owen NF Research Fund. Given all the hard work they have done over the last few years, I feel that it is my turn to take the baton!

So please dig deep and donate as much as you can for a great and very worthy cause.

Thank you very much

Ellie xx
