I'm running in the Cardiff Half 2023, to help raise money for the charity Autistic Minds.

It is a charity founded in 2010 with the mission to help autism families to get the help they need.  They offer a wide range of support, from issues including diagnosis, employment, education, benefits or anything else that families/Autistic adults may feel they need support with. Proudly 60% of their team are autistic, meaning they have a wealth of lived autistic experience and can truly understand the challenges.

ASD is something that is close to home for my family and I.  The diagnosis period can be a long and challenging process. Even after confirmation of diagnosis it can be hard to find the support you need. I believe that if we had found this charity sooner they could have given us a hand in the right direction, just like it has for so many others.
