Depaul Presents For All
Campaign by Depaul (RCN 20048938)
Will you make a donation to one of Depaul's homeless services so we can make this Christmas an extra special one for homeless people?

Story

I am asking colleagues to support the campaign ''Presents for all'' in support of the 28 users of Mount Brown. It originally opened as a Cold Weather Initiative, a humanitarian response to homelessness during the colder months of the year in 2015. In early 2019 Mount Brown transitioned from an emergency service to a fully Supported Temporary Accommodation (STA) service. This transition provides stability and security to those experiencing homelessness and means Depaul can work in a more concerted way with each service user to ensure their time in homelessness is only a short period of their life.

The money we collect will ensure each of the 28 users of Mount Brown will get a present at Christmas. This will consist of a jumper, a hoodie, or a pair of pyjamas, basic toiletries, socks, underwear, or a hat or scarf or gloves, and possibly a treat, such as a box of chocolates or a tin of biscuits.

Depaul is a charity helping people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across the country. We believe that homelessness has no place.Christmas is a particularly challenging time and your very kind donation will allow us to buy gifts for our service users and put a smile on their faces at Christmas.

I hope you will be able to contribute. No contribution is ever too small.

Thank you in advance
