Almost 16 years ago, we lost our incredible mum after a very short battle with cancer. She spent her last few weeks in St Margaret’s Hospice, based in Yeovil. St Margaret’s aim to deliver high quality, responsive and compassionate care and that’s exactly what they did.

100% of the vital end of life care they provide to patients and families is free and St Margaret’s rely on on a number of income streams including donations, grants, retail stores, fundraising activities, lottery and legacies on top of the NHS contribution.

So! We wondered what we could do. On September 11th, we will be attempting to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge in just 24 hours, raising money for St Margaret’s and in memory of our Mum.

The challenge includes:

* Reaching the summit of Ben Nevis (1,344m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1,085m) in 24 hours

* Over the course of two days, we will trek around 26 miles and ascend to a total height of almost 3,000m.
