The aim of our 'Elise for Life' appeal ( www.eliseforlife.org ) - is to raise £1m for The Christie hospital.

I know times are tough, but your donation no matter how large or small will be so gratefully received. £1m is a big total, and we just can't do it without you.

All monies raised will be split between Melanoma research, and the new Clinical Trials Unit. Melanoma accounts for about 3 percent of skin cancer cases but causes most skin cancer deaths. Whilst there is some ground breaking research into cancer drugs to help patients with advanced melanoma, there is still a lot of work to do. The new Clinical Trials Unit supports research studies, to find new and better treatments, interventions, diagnostic procedures and ways of preventing cancer

The Christie is an amazing place. With 1 in 3 of us suffering with this dreadful illness at some stage in our lives, we will all know someone who's been affected. By kindly donating, YOUR money will help current and future patients by allowing The Christie to provide better treatment, care and hope to so many people.
