On 20th January some of you may know that Jill (Nathan's mum) lost her brave battle with cancer and this world lost one of the most amazing women I have ever had the privilege to know.

Jill was such a selfless warm person who to the end always thought of everyone else before herself. She welcomed me from the moment we met into her family and I feel very lucky to have spent so much time with her over the last 7 years and she will be sorely missed.

You may not know Jill or Nathan but you may know someone who is going through something similar. This is why I have decided to do the Cambridge Boundary Run with my best friend Fiona Sheppard in memory of her. I will be raising money for Compton Hospice who help a lot of people providing palliative care and support to the families they leave behind.
