60 is the new 40 !, so people are telling me. 

May 2020, my best friend Liz & I discovered swimming at Clevedon Marine Lake. During the pandemic this new activity was an amazing blessing to us both and we have continued going at least twice a week every week.  Cold water swimming is just amazing & addictive. 

So I have signed up to an epic challenge to be part of a small team, The Pier Piranhas,  each of us will swim for an hour at a time for 24 hours, this is considered to be one of the hardest swimming challenges out there.

Swimming is like nothing else. The skills you develop, the confidence you build and the joys you feel are all universal. Yet access to swimming in the UK is not. At Level Water, we use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water.

I understand money is very tight, please donate if you can. This is cause that will make a genuine difference to people who can't currently access swimming.
