Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As you all may know I have a big passion for helping others and experiencing new cultures in different parts of the world  so I’m really excited to tell you that I have been selected to volunteer overseas with VSO on an International Citizen Service placement where I can combine the two! ✈️🌎

I'll be working in an education programme with VSO in the district of Lamjung - Nepal which focuses on increasing school enrolment, retention and participation of children who are marginalized from the education system – especially vulnerable girls, children with disabilities and Dalit children.

ICS works with communities that have specifically requested their help. It also aims to inspire young people in the UK and overseas to become active citizens who are passionate about long term community development.

The first part of my placement is a challenge to raise £800 towards the work of VSO and their ICS partners. The money raised will go towards enabling the overall costs of ICS, ensuring they can continue sending youth volunteers to the developing world to make a lasting difference in disadvantaged communities.
