On the 5th of September I am going to be taking part in the Leeds 10K run to raise money and awareness for Vasculitis.

For those who don’t know Vasculitis is a rare auto-immune disease, which causes the body’s immune system to attack blood vessels rather than protecting and defending them from infection. There are many variations of Vasculitis, however there are little treatment or drug therapy options to help treat and manage the disease. People with Vasculitis can suffer many symptoms on a day to day basis such as flare ups of muscle pain, breathing problems and fatigue. 

With more awareness and money for research into treatments. People could live a pain free life. 

This charity is important to me because My Auntie Tracy suffers from this disease. She is such a warrior but the treatments are intense. So,  I am also going to be running the 10K to show my support to her.
