Earlier this year, we lost a dear family friend to cancer. The speed at which cancer strikes and the impact that it has on the lives of people we care about is shocking. In those times when family and friends are finding it most difficult to cope, they can look to Macmillan nurses for support. I intend running the great north run as a tribute to a dear friend and "uncle" and would really appreciate your sponsorship so that Macmillan can continue to provide this much needed support.
