I have been humbled and privileged to have visited Malawi in 2019 and 2020. On both visits, I facilitated professional learning and leadership for headteachers.  Malawians have told me this work has impacted on the education of many children and young people.  We leave shortly for our first visit post-Covid to continue and build on this work.  Like many countries Covid has been very hard on the children and staff who work with them. 

In the past two weeks, I have completed Ride the North (56 Mile cycle) and the Great North Run (13.1 miles).  I was too scared to set up my fundraising page in advance as I was not confident I would finish either, never mind both.

Hopefully, people may feel able to make a donation after the event, safe in the knowledge that I did finish both (the run was hard!).  I know times are challenging, but every donation will make a difference and enable us to continue improving education to reduce the impact of poverty in Malawi.
