Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

There has probably never been a time of more need for our NHS. Being in lockdown it's hard to know how to help. But Wilber has been going out for his daily exercise each evening and walking half a mile up and down our road. So we thought why not increase this to twice a day and walk a mile.

Now walking doesn't come easy to Wilber. He is 6 years old and has a rare chromosome abnormality that has had a major impact on his life. He has global development delay, is non-verbal, epileptic, partially sighted, has moderate hearing loss and can only walk with the aid of a walker. However he is a tough cookie who is very determined. He loves people and is very sociable, so lockdown has been pretty hard on him. He misses his amazing school, Abbey Court Special School, so much.

The NHS has been amazing to Wilber in his 6 years, so we thought now would be a good time to support all the professionals doing an amazing job at this terribly difficult time.

Please join Wilber in supporting our NHS.
