St Clare is a hospice located near to Harlow providing amazing care for those suffering from cancer in Essex. St Clare treat around 550 patients each year, mainly those suffering from terminal cancer. With cancer being such a huge part of many of our lives - maintaining such a place is vital not only for the patients themselves but also their families in a particular time of need.

The reason for us choosing this charity and walking 10k at midnight around the gorgeous town of Harlow was for a great man, John Bullough. He lost his fight with terminal cancer earlier in the year and he was treated by those at St Clare's.

Mum and I completed the walk on 16th June in an amazing (for us!) time of two hours - something we were certainly pleased. We hope you feel this is a worthy cause for a few pounds of sponsorship - anything you could give would be fantastic of you!
