Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2024 · 15 September 2024 ·

Lewis Leap Sudden and Traumatic Bereavement Support Service provides early support across Scotland to those who have experienced a sudden and traumatic death. It has been shaped by those with lived experience. In memory of Lewis Johnson, to ensure his selfless spirit lives on.

Story

Lewis' Auntie Elaine, Lewis' Mum Elizabeth and some of her close friends are tackling The Edinburgh Kiltwalk on Sunday 15th September 2024. It's a 13 mile walk from Musselburgh back to and around Edinburgh. Elizabeth has "tagged along" on many of the challenges set and completed by Lewis Leap supporters, but this is her FIRST challenge of her own. Please show Elizabeth and team your support by donating what you can or just sending them a message of support. It will help those tired legs as they approach mile 10, 11, 12 and 13! THANKS EVERYONE!

Lewis Leap was created to honour the life and spirit of our son Lewis Johnson. Lewis was one of the kindest, most generous and happy kids. He loved life and his big smile lit up every room he entered.

Our vision for Lewis Leap is to offer early support to local families who have suddenly & traumatically lost a parent, child or sibling.

This will come to life as a partnership with Cruse Scotland to expand their existing service to include support for family members, collectively and individually, in the early stages of grief.
