We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

Just a little over two years ago my best friend received the most heartbreaking news that she had a stage 3 terminal brain tumour. The news that would change her life forever. It still haunts me to this day and i can still hear Robs voice on the phone letting me know the devastating news that after they operate they discovered it was terminal. I have never heard such a strong man sound so very broken. None of us could believe it or understand how this could happen to such a fit young healthy girl who should be in the prime of her life, unfortunately this is all to common as its the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40.

Sadly research offers the only real hope of dramatic improvements in the management and treatment of brain tumours. Over £500m is spent on cancer research in the UK every year, yet less than 3% is spent on this devasting disease.
Anyone who knows Charlie she is such a fighter and a strong amazing women. I rarely see her with out a smile on her face her positive attitude and outlook on everything is astounding considering what she is facing everyday.

SO March is a very important month as it is Brain Tumour Awareness month.
I have set myself a challenge of attempting to walk 250miles in the 31 days of March! I feel so helpless when it comes to Charlie diagnoses but if i can some raise some money for some much needed research and spread awareness it would be amazing.

So friends , family all you lovely people out there if you could donate anything big or small i know how much it would mean to the charity as well as Charlie. Also if anyone local within the government guidelines wants to join me for a social distance walk please feel free to drop me a message! Thanks so much. Love to you all x x

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
