Story
2020 has been a pretty lousy year for everyone, and the new year hasn’t started off that much better either. Perfect timing to set a new challenge!
Those of you that know George know she loves a goal, after a few wobbles from Ella about fitness levels and lack of sleep, we did it. We signed ourselves up to the National Three Peaks Challenge. On 22nd June we will climb the three highest peaks of England, Wales and Scotland. Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis. 23 miles and 3064 metres of climbing in 24 hours!
As most of you know we've been mates since we were 12 years old and it's safe to say we’ve been through a lot together. Our friendship has survived the trials and tribulations of school, university, relationships, marriage and kids - so why not throw a mountain adventure into the mix!
We don't have to raise money but as the pandemic has had such a devastating effect on so many charities, we've decided to spread the word and try and raise as much money as possible for a charity close to our hearts. The Alzheimer’s Society does incredible work, whatever you donate will go towards groundbreaking research to help cure this terrible disease.
So here we go! Let the training commence...
