Sadly, my Mum was diagnosed with terminal Cancer at the end of 2020, so I've decided to run the Cardiff half marathon on 27 March 2022 for Cancer Research Wales and Bronglais Hospital.

I hope that raising funds will help to support over 130,000 people in Wales who are living with or have had Cancer. Every penny that you donate will be spent here in Wales, helping to support life-saving and world-leading research projects taking place in Welsh universities and hospitals.

The half marathon will be a big achievement for me, as a fairly amateur runner. I have found running to be really great for my mental health during this difficult time, so I'm looking forward to the challenge. Seeing your donations trickle in will definitely motivate me to train in the lovely Welsh climate!
