Story
On April 12, 2026, I will be taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon — to raise money for Leukaemia. This is a story very close to my heart and every step I take will be dedicated to those who are affected by Leukaemia.
My Grandad is living with CLL, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia, which is a type of blood cancer that often progresses slowly, but it’s a lifelong condition. Thanks to ongoing treatments and research, my Grandad is able to live a longer and better-quality life and has done for over 13 years now. Watching someone you love face a diagnosis like this brings home just how vital research, treatment, and support services are.
He’s not only my hero, but also my best friend, and any donation, big or small, will make a real difference to not only help me reach my goal but to also provide serious support and treatment for people like my Grandad.
