I will be climbing Kilimanjaro in memory of my Grandad who unfortunately passed away last year after a long battle with dementia. He always wanted to climb Kilimanjaro so now I’ll hopefully be able to fulfil his wish.

I am raising money for the Amnesty International UK Charitable Trust by taking part in the Kilimanjaro Trek Challenge with the University of Cardiff. Over 9 days I will embark upon a multi-day trek to a significant altitude of 5,895m above sea-level. I will find myself in remote environments with limited facilities on this tough physical challenge.
