Story
Myself and others are coming together as “Power’s Peakers” and are going to be doing @thethreepeaks challenge in June to raise money for @macmillancancer (Climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in the space of 24hours. (With a a light fear of heights and a huge fear of falling) )
Early last year, we received the news that my dad had been diagnosed with two types of bladder cancer both at the latest stage, stage 3:agressive.
You never think it’s going to happen to your family and watching someone you love fight cancer hit home to me that so many other families will be going through the same and I wanted to do anything I could to help. So, raising money for the charity that supports not only the person but the families in the same position seemed like a good way to do that.
We all know at least one person that cancer has affected either directly or a loved one. With the help of your donations and the work Macmillan do, these people can continue to be properly supported.
